He is more devious and calculating than many businessmen I have known. He will encounter me in the barn hallway at feeding time and do a quick assessment of my balance and attention to see if he can dash between my legs or around me to get closer to the feed buckets. I say "Sam, don't even think it!" and he waggles his ears at me and makes his move..Sometimes he is successful, sometime not. But he is always a delight to have in the herd, unless you find it embarrassing to be outsmarted by a pig....
And as for looks..well Sam is one of the finest of his type, a really handsome Tennessee lad from the eastern mountains.
He has been here for about 2 years now, a stray found near Gatlinburg.
