Pauley, the People's Pig

Pauley languished at the Nashville Metro Animal Control for 30 days waiting for someone to come and claim him. No one did.
So Juanita spent her day off collecting Pauley , filling out paperwork and brought him to the sanctuary and got him settled in while I was away that day. She even named him.
After arriving here, Pauley, un-neutered, had to stay in a holding pen which didn’t make him too happy. He wanted to get out and meet the dogs and the people. (No interest at all in the other pigs, this is a people boy) Three days here and he got Dippity pig (sun poisoning). A few days after that he got neutered. A week later he got a nasty tusk cut along his shoulder while mixing with the other pigs. Three days later he was in the hospital on an IV , having gone septic from the wound. Even though it was treated and kept clean, way down under the area that was treated was a tiny bit of bacteria that created a deadly infection that got into his bloodstream. . On Saturday morning he was fine, at noon we were doing Pigassos and he was pushing paint around like a master, by 4 PM he had 105 plus temp and was on his way to the hospital .
Released yesterday, Pauley is back to his normal self : riding around in the golf cart, spinning in carefree circles, chewing up the doorstop and peeing on the dining room rug….just generally being a normal little boy pig!
Hey Guys, Hurry Up! Our tee time was at 7AM !

"Jade, watch the bumps, will ya?.. this isn't the best route.. I think we're lost...I told you to turn left back there at the Hackberry tree.. turn around and go back..."
