Baby Jane

Baby came in with Jerry and Heidi. Jerry is sweet and easy going, Heidi is so friendly she's pushy. But these human-friendly traits didn't rub off on Baby. She and Heidi were both about 8 weeks old when they arrived in 1997. But Baby is still the wildest pig on the place. At vaccination time I always have to warn the vet when she's started into the chute. She CAN fly, I swear! You grab her as she sails through the air if you want to vaccinate her.

As long as you don't try to touch her she is fine. A big girl, she has outgrown Heidi by about 50 pounds and may outgrow Jerry before she's done growing. She never goes far from Jerry and Zelda, her two close friends. And they all sleep together in a small barn alcove that is separate from the rest.
