Marilyn
On July 29, 2000 Marilyn arrived with her maid Sharon bringing her bed and
toys and special treats. Well, maybe she actually wasn't THAT spoiled but not
far off! And in a remarkably short time, since Sharon, who runs a Safe House in
Louisville, had only had her 3 weeks.
Surprisingly, Marilyn, an exceptionally good Hampshire (commercial farm type pig) was a stray in the city. How she was separated from the farm is a story we would all like to know.
When Sharon got the call about her she was not more than a month old.
In the 3 weeks at Sharon's she completely rearranged the lives of several people, 2 dogs and a business. She doubled her size and went from terror at the sight of people to being so affectionate she is annoying!
Her first full day here is summed up in the first 4 pictures as Marilyn discovers the art of digging.
The last 2 are one month later, taken Sept 1st or thereabouts.
So here's our Leading Lady MARILYN!!! (sorry, no autographs)
Hmmmm…grass…its kinda nice
HMMMM…DIRT IS Nice!
Oh boy…digging is great!
Ahhhhhh….
Grass really is OK

Yes, flowers are appropriate for a starlet…but I need to tell them purple really isn't my color.
