Text Box:   Home to 5 rescued pigs, this great home had lots of space but fences that wouldn’t hold pigs and a barn that was too wet in winter to keep them healthy and comfortable. In 2003 we provided a sow hut and fencing to keep the pigs safe. Tragically these improvements came just a few days too late to save a pig who wandered off the property to enjoy the fallen pears on the neighbors property and was brutally slain by a hunter.   In 2005 we are again providing additional fences and another hut to house 3 new pigs in a separate pen. Good homes are hard to find.. We will always strive to help them when we can.
