Once simply a girl with a great desire to adopt a pair of pigs, it was just a few short years before Michele had a family of 9 pigs of her own and was fostering and socializing all our rejected/abandoned baby pigs. When she moved to her new home in the  fall of 2004  we helped her with a fence for her pigs.  This spring we asked her if she wanted to join our organization and  become our Foster Farm for babies, sheltering them until they find permanent homes. She did and she has.

Michele has a remarkable way of making them feel safe after the traumas they have often suffered in their short lives.  She offers abundant love and cookies.. a sure combination.
