This tiny pig has a tale of woe for sure...the Franklins bought a small piece of acreage with a trailer and a wee barn. As they were looking at the property they found a starved little pig locked in the dark wet end of the barn in mud and trash. They made an offer on the property that included the pig or no deal. While they had never had a pig before or had any idea of how to keep one, they knew any wee creature needed to see the sun and sleep in a dry warm bed.
Miss Charlotte was moved out of the dark wet to a small pen and had a nice warm house built for her and filled with hay. She began getting fed properly and getting lots of TLC. They erected a small fence for her (below)

I was called in October when they saw her feet were growing long and didn't know what to do. When I went to trim her nails I saw that she needed a LOT more space, having only a small pen and that she also needed to be spayed. Her feet were trimmed, she was spayed and new fencing was provided.
More pictures pending of the new happy Charlotte in her new fence.
