2003 - Gimli Piglet

Gimli had a hard time in his past.  He had been beaten with a beer bottle and his owner arrested. As a tiny baby he was brought to the sanctaury, neutered and started down the healing process.  He was soon adopted by a couple who had wanted a piggy for a long time. Unable to compete with other pigs he was adopted alone.   Fortunately, he was quickly put on the road to a better life and is now well loved and quite spoiled.. Just like we like them...

The pen the couple had for Gimli  was too small so it was enlarged to give him the room and space he needed.  Now he happily runs about a large tree shaded yard and has cats and a small dog for companionship.
